With 50 years of training experience, Oulton is known for producing well-qualified graduates. An in-depth job search program is offered to each student to assist in procuring employment. Qualifying students receive on-the-job training, which can also result in employment opportunities.

Oulton College conducts round-table discussions with employers for each of its programs to ensure that courses are up-to-date and meet the demands of employers. The marketable skills obtained at Oulton prepare graduates for immediate employment in today's ever-changing job market.

OUR PROGRAMS SAVE TIME
Courses are carefully planned to include subjects, which have maximum practical value in the business world. Our programs are designed to be completed in a 9 to 20-month time frame to allow students to obtain the skills they need to be able to enter the workforce as quickly as possible. You complete your program sooner and begin earning a salary two or three years earlier than graduates from other educational institutions. The average duration of our programs is 10 months.

UNIVERSITY ACCREDITATION
Oulton is the first private (non IT) college in the Maritime Provinces to obtain university accreditation for its courses. The ACTA/CITC Canadian Education Standard System endorses our Travel and Tourism Program. Oulton is also a member of QuickLaw's Canadian Educational Program.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS
We maintain a limited number of seats in each program to ensure a proper student to instructor ratio. This allows us to get to know our students and take an interest in their individual needs. Our size also allows us to adapt to technological changes more quickly. Although we are a local college in Moncton, NB, our graduates obtain certifications that are recognized around the world. Our graduates have obtained employment throughout North America and also Europe.

STUDENT BODY
Our students come from high school, community college, university and workforce backgrounds making for a diverse and interesting student mix. Most of our students are from the Maritime Provinces; however, some are from other regions of Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. Oulton student council is responsible for organizing most of the social, sporting and entertainment events for the students. Such events have brought recognition to our student body. Some for the accomplishments have included raising funds for The Moncton Hospital , Hopital Dr. Georges L. Dumont, The Moncton Food Basket, SIDA/AIDS Moncton, and needy families. The college organizes a main event on Halloween Day so all students may have an opportunity to meet each other. In addition, students have access to Wildcat's hockey tickets. The college purchases season tickets each year, which are available to students by draw prior to each home game. The student council also organizes ball-hockey and volleyball matches in which all students may participate.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Oulton College applicants are eligible for student loans. A payment plan is in place for students choosing to pay tuition by means other than Student Aid. Oulton College also offers the GA Oulton Memorial Scholarship to deserving students from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia.

STUDENT LOAN APPLICATION
We offer our registered students an on-line student loan application service which allows them to obtain the status of their student loan within 10 working days. This is significantly faster than the traditional application method by mail which usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for a response by Student Aid.
