Child and Youth Care Worker:

Looking for a fulfilling career that’s always in demand? Our Child and Youth Care Worker program can be the first step to finding your calling.

Our graduates enter the workforce trained and confident. They’re able to find opportunities in youth correctional facilities, group homes, addiction centers, autism support centers, community-based programs and in schools as teachers’ assistants or behaviourial specialists.

Our curriculum explores theoretical elements of the field from a psycho-educational, behavioral, and systemic perspective. You will also take part in practical exercises that will teach you about abnormal psychology, child abuse and behavior management.

Experienced and attentive instructors will give you hands-on learning that certifies you in programs such as Suicide Intervention, NonViolent Crisis Intervention, and Enhancing Verbal Skills-Application of Life Space Crisis Intervention.
