Early Childhood Education / TA:

When working with children, compassion and patience are two skills that you can’t learn. We can teach you everything else.

Our Early Childhood Education/Teacher Assistant program is approved by the Province of New Brunswick, and includes courses such as LivingWorks, The Crisis Prevention Institute, Nobody’s Perfect, and Early Childhood Care & Education New Brunswick.

Our curriculum covers areas that are relevant to each specific age group, from infants to young adults. Experienced and knowledgeable instructors will guide you through topics such as interpersonal relations, health, art, and child development.

You also learn the administrative and legal requirements of running a daycare centre, while gaining a strong understanding of the business end of the industry.

It’s not unusual for our graduates to complete their 8 weeks of on-the-job-training, then start working fulltime right away at the same organization. You can find a rewarding career working as an early childhood educator, director, owner/operator, family support specialist, intervention worker, nanny, or teacher assistant.
