Oulton Students Participate in Annual Portfolio Day

MONCTON, NB – They say that the best way to learn is through practice, which is why Oulton is a strong believer in hands-on, experiential learning. In an effort to help students learn through practice, Oulton has been organizing annual portfolio days for students from all faculties.

Portfolio days represent an important role in the learning experience. Students prepare their portfolios in preparation for the event, where they will present themselves to their peers. The event allows students to gain valuable presentation skills and feedback that will help them thrive in their future job interviews.

“The event offers students the chance to step out of their comfort zone and practice their presentation skills for future job interviews,” says Patricia Worthington-LeBlanc, Director of Student Services. “These sessions compliment the hands-on education that students receive while at Oulton.”

The next portfolio day will be held on March 27th at Wedgewood Hall. For more information about Oulton’s approach to hands-on education, visit www.oultoncollege.com or call 1-888-757-2020.
