Oulton College Embarks on International Outreach Project

MONCTON, NB – Oulton College faculty and staff have embarked on a fundraising campaign to build a school in Haiti. The campaign is part of the College’s 60th Anniversary celebrations, which will officially begin in 2016.

While the fundraising may have just begun, the College has already collected school supplies, toys and other items that are needed by the Haitian community. Later this week, two faculty members from the College will be flying to Haiti deliver the five suitcases of supplies and tour the compound.

“Oulton students have always been committed to supporting our local community,” says Ryan Sargent, Marketing Strategist for the College. “As part of our 60th anniversary, the Oulton community decided to extend our reach beyond the local community. This international outreach project will help our students become globally engaged citizens.”

Updates about the College’s international outreach project can be found online via www.oultoncollege.com or through the College’s social media channels.
